Thailand Food Innovation Forum

Food Innovation for Health and Wellness

In the past few decades, consumers around the world have increasingly been concerned about their health and prefer products that enhance wellness. Consequently, nutritious food and food safety play a vital role in the global food market.

In Thailand, the food industry is one of the key strategic growth priorities according to the current national development plan and the vision to be the “Kitchen of The World”. In response to the fast-growing global demands, Thai entrepreneurs have been developing themselves to become key manufacturers and exporters by creating innovative food products to promote people’s well-being, and integrating expertise and knowledge from market research and advanced food technologies.

In response to this increased interest, DuPont Thailand recently hosted the Thailand Food Innovation Forum at the DuPont Thailand Innovation Center. The goal of the Forum was to foster stakeholder collaboration to increase food and nutrition security in Thailand by examining key challenges of food innovation for health and wellness.
